Natural elements are so interesting to work with…the plants, stones, wood, water…they add so much texture to a simple space and make it look wow.
I was so excited when I saw a tiny sneak peek into the outdoor area of Mr. Shahid Abdulla’s residence. He is one of the most renowned architects of Pakistan; founder and CEO of Arshad Shahid Abdulla and Associates, and among the founding members of Pakistan Institute of Interior Designers.
He owns a wonderful place; beautifully designed using the natural elements and with a touch of art.
Tell me you too wish to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in this space. A beautiful outdoor space filled with nature’s calmness…L-shaped pool with wooden frame and a little stone work alongside is simply gorgeous. The place is simply filled up with the chairs with round cushions on them and a couple of area rugs. A black wok and a stone table add small details to the place. Two beautiful paintings are looking perfect…adding even more detail to the whole theme. I loved the small stone-walled decoration at the door step. The small wall hangings above it along with the plants nearby complete the welcome note to home, don’t you think?!
